" Nurturing the Spirit of the Individual and the Common Good of the World"

Quotation for Reflection

"This is my living faith, an active faith, a faith of verbs: to question, explore, experiment, experience, walk, run, dance, play, eat, love, learn, dare, taste, touch, smell, listen, argue, speak, write, read, draw, provoke, emote, scream, sin, repent, cry, kneel, pray, bow, rise, stand, look, laugh, cajole, create, confront, confound, walk back, walk forward, circle, hide and seek. To seek: to embrace the questions, be wary of answers." - - Terry Tempest Williams, naturalist and author

Social Justice at Saltwater

Saltwater UU Church is committed to Social Justice in our community and overseas. To learn more about Social Justice activities at Saltwater, click on the links for 'Events' and 'Projects' above. You are always invited to visit or join the Social Justice Committee which generally meets the fourth Sunday of the month after second service at church. Historically, Unitarians and Universalists have always been action-oriented individuals who worked for a better world. Our statement of Purposes and Principles affirms our intent to promote and protect justice, equity and compassion, world community with peace, liberty and justice, and respect for the interdependent web of all existence.
