Spiritual Growth

Chalice Circles, our most popular groups for adults, are groups of six to 12 people who meet for two hours twice a month to share their lives and discuss the big questions of life.  Visit SaltwaterChurch.org/chalicecircles or email administrator@saltwaterchurch.org for more information about participating in Chalice Circles. 

Our Choir sings at services twice a month and rehearses weekly on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Newcomers are welcome. (If you like to sing solos or play a musical instrument and are interested in singing during a worship service, contact Music Director Paula Mayfield at (253) 266-3556 or at music@saltwaterchurch.org .)  The choir breaks for summer, and they will return after Labor Day.

The Writers’ Group meets Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. – noon, to share original pieces of writing with each and to offer encouragement and constructive criticism to each other. For more information, contact Debra Valpey at (206) 243-5566 or via administrator@saltwaterchurch.org

 Fun and Fellowship

The All-Church Retreat happens annually on a weekend in April or May in Seabeck, Washington.

Potluck Lunches happen monthly, usually at 12 noon on the second Sunday of the month.  These will resume in the fall.

The Creative Hands Group meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 7 p.m. to work together on sewing, knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, felting or other craft projects. For more information, contact Lynn Crow at (206) 429-2005 or via administrator@saltwaterchurch.org .

UUGG (The Unitarian Universalist Guys Group) meets irregularly for barbeques, hikes, and other social activities. For more information about participating, contact Aaron Sperry at (757) 339-3632 or

The Young Adult Group, for those 18-35 (or even 35 and holding) is currently on-hold and in the process of restructuring. For more information, contact  administrator@saltwaterchurch.org

Support

An Al-AnonGroup for family members and friends of people whose lives have been affected by addiction meets at the church on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.

The Grief Group meets first and third Mondays from 7-8:30 in the church office.
