Job Description for Sunday Morning Worship Clean-Up

1. Remove the tape from the recording system, label it with the title, worship leader’s name, and date, and place it on the desk next to the window in the church office.

2. Pick up hymnals and put in the bookcase.

3. Take the chalice from the altar table and place it on top of the storage cabinet.

4. Put candle stubs in bag marked 'For Mary' in the storage cabinet.

5.  Put basket with candles in it back in storage cabinet.

6. Take the container for “Candles of Joy and Sorrow” from the altar table and place it on top of the storage cabinet.

7. Turn off the sound system inside the storage cabinet by turning off the red switch on the power strip on the third shelf from the top.  Take the hand-held “ice-cream cone” microphone from the stand up front and place it in its case in the storage cabinet.

8. Check the pulpit for a glass of water and put it in the kitchen.

9. Close the doors and turn off the fan if it’s on. 

10. Fold the altar cloth and place it in the worship closet near the office.

11. Close the assisted listening device case by the bookcase.  Put it in the worship closet.

12. Lock the storage cabinet in the sanctuary and the worship closet near the church office.  The keys go in the first file folder in the container on top of the mailboxes.

13. Turn off the lights.  Switches on the two panels behind the bookcase turn off the overhead lights.  Switches next to the large wooden cabinet by the window wall turns off the pulpit lights.
