First Service Coffee Help

Arrive 30-45 minutes before the service. Under the sink turn the blue handle against the back left until it is all the way open. Press the "ON" button on the dishwasher this will prep it for usage. Turn on all the switches on the coffee maker. Take the plastic container with the blue lid and fill with tap water to the black line. Place fresh coffee filter in coffee maker basket. Place one measuring cup of grounds from either the regular or decaf, coffee ground containers into the basket. Use decanter with orange top for decaf coffee, black top for regular. Make sure you place the decanter under the basket BEFORE you pour water into the coffee maker. Fill the teakettle that is on the stove with tap water and put on stove, turn burner on and heat until kettle whistles. Put a tablecloth on the coffee service table in the Welcoming Room. Tablecloths are located on the shelves over the stove. Put coffee condiments and utensils on coffee service table. Stirrers, cups, teabags, hot chocolate, sugar, creamer, sweetener, and napkins. Fill corresponding dispensers with regular coffee, decaf coffee and hot water. Place dispensers on coffee service table. Note: Coffee grounds now go into the crock labeled for composting. Check and refill coffee, and coffee service items as necessary until the beginning of the service. During coffee time, after the service, check to see if anything needs refilled. Refill as needed. To run the dishwasher. Load the dishwasher trays with the coffee service cups and utensils. Place one tray in the dishwasher, sprinkle about ½ Tablespoon of dishwasher detergent onto the lower part of the open dishwasher door. Close the dishwasher door and press the "WASH" button. Only do this if the service is over. The noise of the dishwasher disturbs the services

Second Service Coffee Help

Note: Coffee grounds now go into the crock labeled for composting. Collect dirty coffee service cups and utensils. To run the dishwasher. Load the dishwasher trays with the coffee service cups and utensils. Place one tray in the dishwasher, sprinkle about ½ Tablespoon of dishwasher detergent onto the lower part of the open dishwasher door. Close the dishwasher door and press the "WASH" button. Only do this if the service is over. The noise of the dishwasher disturbs the services. When the last load of dishes comes out of the dishwasher, close the door, and turn the valve under the sink back to the right until it is closed. Press the "OFF" button on the dishwasher this empties the system. Place coffee service items from table in Welcoming Room back in kitchen cupboards. Put dirty tablecloth in basket on top of fridge or take home to be washed. Empty the trash and recycling. New bags are located under/near the sink. Wipe counters. Put clean dishes away. Sweep floor. Turn out light.
