The Saltwater Unitarian Universalist Church in Des Moines, Washington, is undertaking the construction of a large outdoor labyrinth on the church grounds. With a design based on the Chartres Labyrinth in Paris, the Saltwater Labyrinth will be a quiet place of contemplation and reflection for the South King County community.

The Memorial Garden of our church will provide the idyllic location of our labyrinth. On the edge of Puget Sound, a wooded trail will lead from the labyrinth site all the way to the beaches of Saltwater State Park.

Our labyrinth will be a place of personal meditation as well as religious rituals, weddings, and gatherings for many years to come. Explore these pages to learn more about the project.
