For Newcomers

Welcome to the Saltwater Church website! One of the main purposes of our website is to help newcomers to Saltwater Church and to Unitarian Universalism find out more about us and find out what's happening at Saltwater Church.

In addition to the information that's provided on this website, here are some other ways to find out what's happening at the church:

  • Saltwater Church sends out a "Weekly Announcements" e-mail message on Friday afternoon. This e-mail message has information about the coming Sunday's services as well as the latest information about what's happening at the church during the coming week. Click here to subscribe to our "Weekly Announcements" e-mail list.

  • Our monthly newsletter, The Saltwater Scroll, is mailed by U.S. mail at the end of every month. Click here to receive a free subscription to our monthly newsletter.

  • A Newcomers' Orientation is held monthly at the church for people who are interested in learning more about the church and Unitarian Universalism and meeting Reverend James, our minister. (It isn't necessary to attend the Newcomers' Orientation, however, before attending a service. Newcomers are always welcome to attend services or any other church event.) Childcare is available for Newcomers' Orientations if requested. Call church church administrator Sue Eaton at (253) 839-5200 or e-mail her at sue@saltwaterchurch.org to arrange childcare.
